        Dr Lawrie is an outstanding heart surgeon and human being. I needed open heart surgery for a double bypass and he did an amazing job! His bedside manner is wonderful and my recovery was so much easier than expected due to his expertise and skill and the all around excellent medical care at Houston Methodist. I can't thank him and his team enough! I am doing great and thank God Dr Lawrie was my surgeon. He's is absolutely the best! Many thanks!!!

        My husband had his mitral valve repaired by Dr. Lawrie recently and he truly is an amazing surgeon. He explained everything to us and answered all of our questions (and there were many of them) before and after the procedure. Dr. Lawrie is not only an amazing surgeon, he is one of the kindest and caring physicians we have ever met. He truly cares for his patients and puts your mind at ease.
