I lived here for 1 year 2020-2021. Overall it is a good place to live where i felt safe. Pros: - Amazing location (grocery stores, lots of trees, neighborhood to walk dog in, very walkable) - Super Quiet neighbors. I was in the first floor with ppl above me - super cute apartment layouts with fireplaces and windows - very nice and helpful staff -LOWEST prices in the area Cons: - HIGH electricity bills! The apartment is older and doesnt have good insulation, the windows made it very hot in the living room in the summer it was unbearable in the living room. cranking up the a/c doesnt help and at most my electric bill was almost $300 while still not cooling. bedroom Rooms could get cold though at least. This is the reason why I moved out from here. i was tired from avoiding the living room during the summer head and cold winter days. - loud noises sometimes. Since my apartment was right next to the parking lot, loud trucks, suvs, moving trucks, amazon trucks would be loud and annoying. I could hear engines and backup beeping very loudly through the walls during the day. Also i was next to the pool and the maintenance closet so the cleaning ladies would wake me up every morning talking loud to each other at 7am. im considered a light sleeper and since i was next to the pool, during the summer nights there would be LOUD frogs SINGING lol and it would actually keep me up it was pretty loud. p.s i would invest in some noise cancelling headphones if u r similar. - The area was safe and i felt pretty safe BUT the windows where very old and thin. They could break super easily and there is no alarm so i was scared of how easy it would be to break in. - My cousin left her bike outside my apartment, she didnt secure it properly, but in a few hours it was already stolen. so theres some quick thieves here. I didnt hear anything about cars or anything else. - Very limited visitor parking. weekends are always full but you might be able to find one spot. there is street parking near the citywalk entrance though, but it was a little far from my unit. Ive never seen anyone get towed and i worked from home and could hear everything from the parking lot though. Still wouldnt risk it though. - No secure locker for packages. I think i got a package stolen for a bike rack for my car. Luckily amazon refunded me anyway. - there were some small cockroaches here and there but i figured it was just because the apartment is old. it was never a major problem. funny story one time i woke up and there was a slug on my ceiling in my kitchen and it left a long trail from the front door on my ceiling. i almost puked when i woke up and saw it lol. so yeah, there are a lot of trees surrounding the apartments and horrible insulation so thats probably how that happened. Overall i still had a good experience even though the pandemic started 1 month into moving in. This was the first place i moved out to since living with my parents :-)
