Literally some of the worst apartments Ive ever lived in. We get charged $25 for every little thing. The trash guy complains if the trash doesnt come out of the container, we stopped leaving it out and got charged 3 times already. Got charged $25 for having a ring camera that they didnt give me but by a court order Im allowed to have one. Charged $25 for having a plastic containers on our patio. They want to be high maintenance but there is literally dog poop everywhere because nobody ever picks it up. The neighbors throw trash and leave the stairs and surrounding areas filthy and not to mention the gates NEVER work and god forbid you ask for help they dont even acknowledge you when you walk into the office. Every month our utilities go up and our rent was supposed to be 1595 with a $50 risk fee that Ive never been charged before but somehow Im paying almost 1900 bucks a month so almost $250 in water and pest control fees and all the small stuff tacked on. Also, we have some of the loudest neighbors who have no respect for quiet times out there screaming and yelling in odd hours of the night. These apartments are so shady. So many things in my apartment have been broken and took weeks to fix and when I called they had closed out the claim because they didnt want it showing on the portal but nothing was ever fixed. I dont know how many times the AC went out in the summer time and the response we get is youre running it too cold okay if Im paying the electric I should be able to run it at whatever I want. Im telling you it is literally the worst when it comes to the fees here. Would never recommend these apartments to anybody! Update: 2/23/24. They responded to my review yesterday 2/22/23 which stated they will make sure their policies are transparent and FAIR. Today I received an email that states: Per community guidelines the ONLY thing allowed on patios are patio furniture. They disregarded everything else I stated. Come to think of it, the only nice one that works up front is Stephany, everybody else looks at you like youre scum when you walk in, if they even acknowledge you. However when my husband walks in there or calls, theyre all giddy to help. Ironic.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. From the front desk to apartments to EVERYTHING, do not move here. They had me move into an apartment with a dishwasher that does not work, a shower that does not drain ( so its constantly flooding) , water damage under the sink in the bathroom, the door to the closet is damaged , stains on the granite and carpet , windows were not cleaned and extremely dirty And ROACHES everywhere! I have tried to contact the office and sent my form In but nada! And now they want to contact me and blow up my phone. You all should have seen these conditions before and not let me move in but you all didnt SHAME!!!! Just take my advice talk DO NOT MOVE HERE ! Everything is Trash!

First of all, these apartments make you pay the internet and cable through xfinity, and these services are not optional $125 per month. The gate never works, in summer time the pool was closed for almost 2 months for hail damages, but once the contractor started doing the work, they were done in 2 days, that tells you that the apartments didn't care and took forever to accept a bid from the contractors. Roaches everywere even with pest control treatment, mold growing on a/c vents and walls. Rat drops in the patio and water heater area. My Fob never worked for the mail room nor the gym, and I did report it multiple times when I first moved in, but after trying unsuccessfully to get my fob to work, I just quit asking. Maintenance are careless and leave their work area dirty for you to clean. They must really think they are doing us a for free favor, we pay rent and it is not cheap please talk to your maintenance people. Pets are allowed, so if you don't mind dogs barking and howling all day and night, go ahead, I'm not renewing with NOVU apartments once my contract ends. I did call the courtesy officer when the neighbor dog was barking and howling for hours on the apartment above mine and the response from the officer was "awww maybe his parents are not home, you should go knock on their door and make sure they're fine" I lost faith on this matter so I just left it alone. Update March 2024 My contract expired, I go and talk about the details of me moving out with Stephanie at the office on Sunday March 4, and Stephanie she explains to me that I will get a final bill with a break down of all the fees after she gets through with my apartment inspection, I did ask if we could do the inspection whileI i was there but she declined because she would had to lock the door during business hours and that she was too busy. She also explained that if there were any damages, I would be charged, and I was ok with that since my apartment doesn't have any damage. What I'm not ok with is that she sent me a separate bill for my prorated rent of 3 days on Sunday night without a breakdown of the charges so I called the next morning Monday 4th at 9am and asked for Stephanie, one of the agents there told me that she was busy and that she will call me back later, no call still from Stephanie so I called their office again and the agent (i wish I remember her name, but she is new to the office) she was very rude and told me that Stephanie would call me back when she is not busy, I did ask about the bill why it wasn't in detail so I could see the charges and she replied again "Stephanie will call you when she is not busy" I talked to Stephanie on Tuesday March 5th finally and ahe said that the prorated amount she sent me Sunday I supposed to pay on Sunday then she explained because I didn't pay on Sunday, not even 24hrs later on Monday I had a $100 late fee in my account, imagine that. I then asked her why you didn't tell me you were sending 2 bills? When She only told me it was going to be 1 bill, but of course whenever this ladies do the wrong thing all they do is repeat themselves and thats the tactic that most apartments use, they repeat themselves until you get tired and have no option but to just pay, what a sorry human being she is for doing this to other people, you don't do this, this could be grocery money for a lot of people, I'm blessed I can afford it but this is just stealing money in daylight. VERY unprofessional. Another thing is, very often, you see cars sitting on bricks, and if you call the office, they dont care they tell you to call the cops, and their security is not even armed. The courtesy officer is a joke he tells you to go knock on your neighbor's door and tell them yourself to control their pets and to keep it quited. Same thing with people smoking marihuana on premises, I had a reply from the office to call 911 after I reported people smoking marihuana, I told her 911 is for emergencies and the first call is for the apartments and take action on this issue but she kept on saying I had to call 911.
