After being here 6 years it feels like home. Meeting new friends, sharing experiences together. Activities planned are suitable for all residents to enjoy. Management and staff cares about its residents.

I previously posted a review and it was somehow removed; therefore, Im reposting. My biggest concern about this facility is that during a severe winter storm, there was no back-up power to keep even one elevator running, and residents on the second and third floors who used walkers or wheelchairs needed significant assistance to walk downstairs. The sprinkler system pipes froze and subsequently burst during the winter storm causing numerous apartments and the clubhouse to flood, requiring major remediation. Residents in the flooded apartments were moved into hotel rooms, but those of us whose apartments didnt flood were left to fend for ourselves, with no power or heat. Other issues I experienced included insects crawling in through closed windows, mold/mildew on poorly sealed windows, flooded corridors after heavy rain, filthy corridors near the garbage chutes, catalytic converter theft in the parking lot, and a kitchen drain that smelled like a sewer. The carpet was stained when I moved in and had wheelchair tracks (former resident used a wheelchair and had a service dog). I was charged for cleaning the carpet, even though the prior manager told me not to worry about it and she would have the carpet replaced when I moved out. I dont recommend Solea Copperfield.
