Motel 6 Henderson, TX

Don't book here. Especially if you care about your reputation. After spending one night here and only sleeping, eating and showering, I went to try to confirm my reservation & was informed that my room had been smoked in during my stay. Not just your average cigarette, but the kind you smoke with your "left hand". They were adamant that I had, and refused to hear otherwise. I mean, I smoke regular cigarettes. But if there's cameras in the back, you can see me going outside in the morning to smoke and my cigarettes only being in the car! Very rude and unprofessional!

We needed a first floor room, and they had them available. The inside seems recently re-done, and is nice. There is one step up to get in, but one step is manageable. Oddly, there was another door to the room that led to an interior hallway. Have not ever seen that before. It was disappointing that there was no fridge / microwave in the room however. Rooms: Newly redone it seems and look good. The lack of a fridge / microwave was disappointing. Also, the desk area was directly below the TV which meant for 2 people, if one was using the desk, they would partly be in the way of the TV. Walkability: Parking spaces right by the room doors, but there Is an additional step up to get into the room besides the one to get up from the parking area to the sidewalk. For those with mobility issues this could be a problem. Although, if interior access was easier, a wheelchair, for example, might be better going to the room that way.

It was clean, and i stayed here before. I would come here again when im traveling. Also, There is fast food near by and a dollar store.
