It appears that Ms. Gibson's review lacks some crucial context. On April 3, 2024, we completed a move for her, which she was very satisfied with as she reached out for another move, specifically requesting the same crew. The subsequent move was anticipated to be larger, and we promptly provided her with the rates as per her request. However, despite sending her the rates via email, she never acknowledged receipt nor reviewed the details. Instead, she requested a walkthrough of her home. It's important to mention that at this point, Mrs. Gibson did not want to book her move. At the time of this review, Ms. Gibson still had 8 days to find a moving company. On the agreed day for the walkthrough, we called to confirm, only to find out that Ms. Gibson had forgotten to call and needed to reschedule. We accommodated her by rescheduling for the following day. It's worth noting that the urgency of the move being labeled as "last minute" was primarily due to Ms. Gibson's scheduling. She initially contacted us on March 29, set the walkthrough for April 4, then postponed it to April 5. Following the walkthrough, we promptly sent a detailed email outlining the rates for four men and two trucks. Despite opening the email at 11:26, at 11:39, she emailed us emphasizing the need for four men, stating she would call in an hour. During our subsequent conversation, Ms. Gibson's asked why we sent her information on 2 men when she had requested 4-man pricing. Her tone grew increasingly aggressive, demanding explanations as to why the pricing information for four men wasn't provided earlier. Despite my efforts to maintain a professional demeanor and address her concerns, Ms. Gibson's dissatisfaction persisted. Sensing that meeting her expectations would be challenging, I suggested that she seek out a mover more aligned with her needs. Unfortunately, Ms. Gibson responded by accusing me of dishonesty and threatening to tarnish our reputation through various means, including social media, referrals, and reporting us to the BBB. Throughout our interaction, I maintained a respectful tone, consistently addressing Ms. Gibson as "ma'am." Despite my decades of experience in this industry, I have never encountered such a confrontational exchange.
