Aviator Air Flight School

I got my Private Pilot and Flight Instructor certificate here, and it was a great experience. They also let me instruct my brother in one of their planes. Cessna 10847 holds a special place in my heart. If I were to do it over again, I would have done everything here. Justin Abbott was my instructor and he's a very solid person and instructor. The guy's been in combat; nothing rattles him.

Great school. Many good CFIs, very responsive and located at a convenient yet uncrowded DFW are airport.

Aviator air is truly the best flight school in the metroplex. I love being able to schedule everything at the time I want with whatever plane I want. I have some of the best CFIs helping me get through all of my ratings and while flight school is very expensive I feel like I pay for quality lessons! I truly feel like everyone at this school wants the best for the students and each other. I wouldnt want to do my flight school journey anywhere but here!

My experience at this flight school has not been great. I will not go much in to detail as I'm not trying to bad mouth a specific instructor or this flight school. To make a long story short, I booked a ground session and the CFI was not very knowledgeable in the area I was needing help in and do not know if it's due to not having enough experience and did not care if she gave me further instruction or if it came from another instructor at this school. Once our ground session was done, I was charged for a one hour ground session when actually it was around 20 minutes or less. I know that each flight school does have a bad apple from time to time. But this just leaves a black eye to the flight school and especially in this age of social media. I dont think all the instructors are bad at this school, it's just this one who possibly had a "I do not care attitude." I hope that it does not happen to anyone else, this is just me experience recently.
