Bob's Grocery

Ran to the closest grocery store in an emergency run, saw the sign on the door that said cash only and poked my head in to double check saying Just double checking you guys really are cash only? To which the guy with the hat said yeah the signon the door theresays cashonly. Whats the point in opening a business to the public if you treat the public like you hate working with them? Avoid at all costs.

Very helpful, didnt purchase anything went in for help with a money order and Bob jr was very kind and friendly

The employees sometimes make up their own prices. I buy the same thing every day. One charges tax on the milk (she usually works nights) and the dude working today added a whole dollar to what I was trying to purchase. I walked out. The prices should be consistent. Don't trust your total. Ask to see their price sheet AND get a copy of your receipt to compare.

Great place to cash a check, if you dont have a bank account or if it's the weekend. Located in the middle of downtown Galveston. Convenient place for folks to walk, that dont want to drive to a big store. Bob's pretty awesome too.
