Warning this hospital are immune from liability bc they are government employees. It is very wrong. They can profit off of people yet never pay any consequences for their mistakes. And mistakes they make. My life has been destroyed, and I can't sue without lawyers. I mean, no lawyers are willing to touch the case, even though I have a strong case, and even ABC 13 doesn't want anything to do with that. My mental, emotional, and financial life is ruined, and I am suffering from permanent damage.

My sister wound up at UTMB for a complex spinal surgery that left her in need of extensive rehab. The doctors were great, but rarely seen or heard from. Nurses and PTs were hit or miss. The care manager was horrendous, and unfortunately her role was critical in our case. We saw her once in the 6 days at the hospital, and she was immediately making excuses about what she may or may not be able to find and coordinate in terms of post-surgical rehab. We tried calling her several times afterwards to follow up and she didn't answer or return calls once. My sister was suddenly discharged without warning late on a Saturday, still unable to walk without significant help, handed a paper bag full of pills, and put in a medical taxi for the 3+ hour drive back to her house, with ZERO plan for her post-surgical PT and care. Our family, who lives 1200 miles away, is now doing the care manager's job for her and coordinating my sister's post-surgical care. The utter abdication of her role in my sister's scenario is unfathomable.

I'm one of many who have been falsely accused of Munchausens by proxy. I have what I need to back it up. Do not, I repeat, do not take your child(ren) here. This hospital can ruin your life! They ruined mine and my children's. They work with CPS in a partnership to remove children. I'm coming for you UTMB...in court. I can't wait...
