Courtyard by Marriott Galveston Island

Althea Brown from the front desk was super nice and kind to everyone and always had a smile on her face and made this hotel experience so much more like home. She gave the kids smores for free and the kids had so much laughter. Kids were just looking at the snacks that they couldn't get but she went to us(the parents) and asked about if they can have smores as they said yes the kids bursted into happiness. If you were staying at Galveston recommend this hotel. Because of their kind staff amazing back yard with a cool pool and nice bonfire. If you are the manager, please give her a chunky raise.

The front desk clerks are second to none. They take wonderful care of you and are seemingly effortlessly friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The price is good. I highly recommend this facility. The one thing that could improve this hotel would be a continental breakfast. My only complaint is the medical helicopter that flies right outside the hotel at night on its way to the hospital. Not hardly the hotels or the staffs fault. I suggest the poolside of the hotel if you are a light sleeper. Noteworthy details: The staff is amazing.
