We moved to Texas and our first apt experience was here. We found Palm shore apts was a nice quiet area when we first got there but over time and quite quickly more issues came up with other tenants that live there, Ive never had more problems in all the many places Ive lived in my life. At first we had some issues with neighbors and some safety concerns but we were helped in resolving all of those issues fairly quickly. Thanks to admin staff (moving us to another apt) Theyve finally gotten very good staff onboard (Ceasar and Keely). One person in particular more than the rest, Keely! Keely has amazing customer service skills and truly cares about the residence, their safety and happiness living at Palm Shore apts! She made sure if there were any challenges or concerns that they were handled efficiently and in a timely manner. I must say Palmshore is very lucky to have someone like her on their staff and I hope they recognize that! Pricing is fair within the apts they offer as well. The application process is expensive and extensive although it does seem like they just let anyone move in and that is unsettling. It also feels a bit ghetto, so far Ive had to call and interact with the police several times due to neighbors and safety concerns of random people walking around at night trying to open doors at night. Ive never had an experience like that anywhere Ive lived nor have I interacted with the police more than Ive ever have had to down here. The walls are paper thin and so are the floors. So you can hear neighbors from all directions. The piping is terrible and rusty so the water may come out golden colored. The bathtubs dont drain well so showering means water up to and above your ankles. I WILL say, ever since Keely has come in and there is new management and admin staff like Keely whom again is AMAZING! I have noticed they are working on making things better for residents and that is much appreciated!

Do not live here. I lived here for 4 years and I constantly rolled with the punches which included but are not limited to the following: the bathtub backfilled and overflowed when I moved in destroying half my toiletries, they offered to pay for me to stay in a hotel but I knew that would be pricey for them so I just moved across the pool - then that apartment had bug droppings in it and then water came seeping up between the floorboards causing mold to grow in the walls, and it always smelled like cigarette smoke, and there were roaches, so moved back to the other building into a different apt where my upstairs neighbors pipe broke and my ceiling flooded - I was told theyd bring in fans and they never did so I just had to keep washing it with bleach myself. Also, the bathtub was super slow to drain and they had people come twice to look at it and couldnt fix it so I just showered in water up to my ankles all the time and the shower was never clean and I had to use drain-o almost weekly. One plumber informed me that the pipes were a huge problem that cannot be fixed without MAJOR repairs. Also, I had packages stolen and so did my neighbors in the apt building next door. They raise the rent CONSIDERABLY every year causing the older people that lived there for years to have to move out. They replaced those apartments with AirBnB apartments so you never know what entire group of 15 sketchballs is going to be living nextdoor on any given day. One of my neighbors (another resident physician) didnt have hot water for months until too they finally realized it was never going to be fixed and moved out. And their auto-repayment system was garbage- if your auto payment tried to process in the morning and the rent wasnt charged to your account until later in the day, it would just not autopay and they would send you eviction threats days later even though they can see you have auto-payments on that have always historically autosubmitted and they would not refund your late fee. I also told them when I was moving in that I was going to be leaving in 4 years in June and then I also included that I was moving out in an email months prior to moving out and then I send ANOTHER email weeks prior to moving out again. I forwarded them these emails and yet they still tried charging me near $800 for not giving a 2 or 3 month notice and they refused to respond to my email showing they the correspondence and just sent me immediately to a collections agency to ruin my credit score. So glad I offered to just move apartments when sewage backed up into my apartment instead of having them put me in a hotel because I was worried about saving them money. Its sad because I liked the location for proximity to hospital and the beach but - its not worth it. Youll have a laundry list of problems and even if you never complain they will prioritize making a dollar over their tenants wellbeing and no one leaves that complex happy. STAY FAR AWAY!
