I’m sick of dealing with this company. They don’t take responsibility in their actions, they keep messing up our monthly payment, because their customer service reps don’t listen or notate the customer account. The professionalism over the phone is pathetic and I am currently shopping rates to ditch this company. I’m sick of dealing with these people. I’m literally refinancing my home just to get rid of them. The one person I trusted there left and I see why now.
Never would I recommend them to anyone again.

I worked with Jan as a first time home buyer. He was wonderful to work with, always prompt and helpful. He explained a lot of the technical jargon in language that was easy to understand. His reports for various loan options were what really made me decide to work with his team vs other lenders. It could have been a challenging environment due to the current pandemic times, but Jan made the process as easy as possible.

The team was great to work with and Nick made everything so easy, even insisting that I feel free to call anytime including weekends. He was awesome. Unfortunately, after we closed on our mortgage, they continued to send spam and physical junk mail. I asked repeatedly for it to stop but it continues. I was originally excited to refer people, but now I just get frustrated when I go to the mail box and see their logo.
Even after leaving a 2 star review and the manager condescendingly explaining how to stop the spam, but still the junk mail continues. I feel harassed at my own home. This is the most disrespected I have ever felt as a consumer.

Working with Marcel, Jan, and the whole team at Guaranteed Rate made the home buying process so much easier than I ever would have expected it could be! As a first time buyer in this absolutely crazy market, the loan approval process was honestly the least stressful thing about our entire transaction.
Marcel and the team were extremely responsive to any questions we had and were diligent about keeping us updated through each step as we made progress toward closing. Having the ability to reach out to a real live person with the lender and knowing we’d receive a response was instrumental in helping ease some of the anxiety we felt during the process. They provided very clear direction about the “dos and don’ts” during underwriting and what to expect next as we moved ahead every step of the way.
