I come here pretty frequently and whenever I come, Josh is working! He is super knowledgeable, kind, and attentive to everyone. Great selection of items!

Back in late December, I bought a $45 ticket for a New Years event at Soultopia where customers could assemble their own bracelets - as soon as I completed the transaction, (a few days before the event), I realized I had purchased it for the wrong date (I was going to be out of town) and immediately emailed the contact listed to see if I had any options to change my ticket. After I waited until the next day with no response I called the store to follow-up, but ultimately was told that because supplies were already purchased, they would not do anything - I couldn't attend a different session, I couldn't save my ticket for an event later in the year, no store credit - nothing. I then got a call back about 30 minutes later, where Soultopia said that they changed their mind and would assemble my bracelet for me during the event, and I could pick it up afterward at the store - which seemed like an adequate resolution to me given the circumstances - BUT when I came to the store a few days later, the bracelet was not available. The staff wrote down my name and address with the promise that they would mail the bracelet to my house soon. It's been about two months, and I never received anything. Although it was my mistake to buy a ticket for the wrong date, I am sad that a small business that's all about good vibes would take $45 from me and leave me empty handed.

I gave this place a three star rating bc they do have a variety of herbs, crystals, and tarot decks. The store is nicely arranged as well. When I walked in, the energy felt very off. I milled around the store and some noticeable flags stood out for me. First I didn't see many inclusive tarot decks like other stores. Second, they do sell white sage and palo santo (didn't pick up the palo to see if it was real or the fake stuff), which is a very closed practice. I also noticed a variety of Orisha candles, which can be very dangerous for beginners. I am not a beginner by any means, but walking into a shop and not getting helped is a sure way to f-up your life just due to lack of inexperience. I can't even verify if anyone in the store had crystal or Orisha knowledge. I also noticed that some things that I had bought at other stores were priced higher here. For the experienced, go in get what you need and leave. But if you are needing knowledge, help, or insight into products--I would recommend other stores in DFW.
