The Cookie Rack

I love the cookies from this shop! I never buy cookies out because they never taste as good as what I make myself, but buttercream on these cookies is delish! The only disappointing thing is the dont have the chocolate with chocolate buttercream all the time. So Ive been disappointed to drive there a few times and they dont have them. I suggest if those are your favorites, call ahead and ask. I like the strawberry also. But go mainly for the chocolate on chocolate.

My recommendation is the classic sugar or the birthday cake. I love good sugar cookies with buttercream icing, and homemade versions can be difficult to find. These are soft and have a very smooth buttercream frosting. 1 cookie is hard to eat, but also hard to stop eating. Specific to the other flavors, I have to be honest, I did not care for them. The other flavors almost tasted like they had a similar base to the sugar cookie, but did not really take on the assigned flavor. For example, the chocolate chip tastes a little dry, whereas I prefer an ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie. The Oreo tasted a bit bland, and the chocolate on chocolates frosting tasted too much like a chocolate pudding. Id go to JDs Chippery for chocolate chip or basic flavors, and Id come here for a classic frosted sugar cookie!

Adore this cookie shop! The flavors are always delicious and the cookies are cute too. Recently I ordered a custom cookie cake from them last minute and the design wasnt the most simple of course. I spoke to Heather & she was so nice, extremely helpful and so very friendly. She worked with me to get my cookie cake ordered. She let me know that the bakers may have to simplify the design some because of time, which I completely understood. I was just so thankful they would be able to get it done at all and I would trust their artistic choices. Well I picked up the cookie cake and was blown away by how amazing it looked and how close to the design they got it. It is stunning and I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Cookie Rack!! Your staff, bakers and decorators are tops in my book!
