Village Health Partners - Frisco Medical Village

Scheduling with the rep over the phone was a breeze. She was patient and kind and accommodating and answered any questions I had. I got in the next day with Dr. Bradley Spreger (today) which is who I was hoping to get since some moms in local Facebook groups recommended him. Im so glad I visited this practice because its conveniently located and very clean and updated with easy parking. The medical assistant gets straight to the point when you enter the exam room to ask you a series of questions about your health. She was very nice and helpful, she may seem short but I think she just wanted to get straight to the point and get her job done. Then Dr. Spreger comes in 3 minutes later concerned about my high blood pressure and listened to my concerns and did his physical exam on me for my annual physical. Praying for good news. Dr. Spreger is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and I dont feel judged or rushed so thanks Dr. Spreger! He gave me his advice and recommendations. Then Lauren checked me out and guided me to the Lab to get my blood drawn. Reagan, the phlebotomist was awesome and I usually warn phlebotomists prior to sticking me that in a hard stick but she got it on the first try. Everyone was great! But after reading these reviews I am afraid about how billing will be processed lol. Praying it wont be mid managed with billing with insurance! But overall, a good experience and looking forward to going back.

EDITED TO ADD: I emailed their customer service as they requested in their response below. Two days later I havent even received an acknowledgment, let alone a solution. Stay away from this place. They offered me a 7:00 am appointment for my physical which they did not honor and I had to wait 20 mins. They falsified my records stating that I received 5 vaccines that I did NOT receive, and then charged my FSA card for something that didn't happen. Very disorganized and the billing girl is very rude.

Dr. Heather Sheffield is the most caring and knowledgeable physician I have ever encountered. The entire team at Village Health Partners is professional and kind.

Unfortunately I have to reduce this place to 1 star. The doctor still continues to be 5 of 5. Great doctor. But the staff less than 1 star. Not super friendly. Some are alright but most seem like they are pissed off to go into work. Not very professional or friendly. They are just very cut and dry and to the point. They dont really seem to communicate with each other all that well either. The doctor makes a referral but then the staff back tracks the referral and refers you to the wrong doctors. So you end up with six different referrals when really the doctor just made one. I was 120% clear that I already had occupational therapy. Doctor makes the proper documentations and refers me to a doctor. Later I get a call saying they referred me to occupational therapy. Then tell me thats what they were under the impression of. Its easy if you dont understand ask the doctor wait till he can answer himself. Dont make assumptions because you know what happens when assumptions are made. Then they call you and if you reject because your busy theyll turn around and call back you reject theyll turn around and call back again. Took them calling me 3 times and me not picking up for them to get the point I cant come to the phone right now means Im busy. Leave me a message on the portal. My recommendation is this. Go there for the doctors because they are great. But be super careful with the staff. Triple check everything. And I highly suggest you go to a different place to get labs drawn because the staff there will hurt you. And wont even care about checking in with you to make sure your alright. Cut and dry and stern attitude is not good manners for a doctors office. Its the chief compliant I have that caused my one star rating. Bad staff that are borderline rude (not all but most) and they dont double check their work and make many assumptions. If they can take these reviews seriously and fix up the supporting staff there Im happy to increase the rating. But as of now, no they have not earned It.
