Windhaven Senior Living

Everyone is so wonderful. They treat us like family. We came today for Thanksgiving dinner with my father in law. We had a wonderful time.

My 91 year old father has been residing at Windhaven since August 2022. We have been very pleased with the management and caretakers at the facility. On Monday, November 20, the facility held a Thanksgiving dinner for members of the family. It was a wonderful spread of food for residence and family members. The food was delicious.

My mother has been living at Windhaven for the past two years and loves it. The facilities are first class, the staff is friendly and caring, the food is excellent, there is plenty of regularly scheduled activities and entertainment, and management is responsive and encourages feedback. When you drive up to the immaculately secured grounds conveniently located off El Dorado on Teel and walk in, you immediately sense that Windhaven is a hidden gem. This is where I want my Mom to live!

I worked at this facility for one day and it was a horrible the residents complained the whole time the nurse was so rude and the assistant wellness director was as well no communication what so ever I worked for one day and still waiting to be paid they are just looking to hire due to no staff and I wonder why the workers talk horrible about they job I wouldnt recommend working here ever

We pay $4600 a month for level 2 care and after 10 months they wanted my mom to pay an additional $2200 a month for a total of $6800 for NO MORE CARE! Her care needs did not increase, she walks with a walker, showers herself, changes her own diaper and clothes and gets herself to breakfast, lunch and dinner!! She is a nice, pleasant lady who all the caretakers adored. The price increase in just a short 10 months is ELDER ABUSE!! So wrong on so many levels so we moved her out!! Also she had no hot waters for weeks at a time which was very frustrating and unacceptable!! Please be aware of this when you search for a place for your loved one. Also the turnover in staff is constant but my mom had nothing but nice things to say about the staff!
