I met Janis Lowe last year at a friends gathering and learned that Janis is also director of homeowners association for Friendswood Lakes in Friendswood TX I was awestruck listening to her brag about taunting residents of her neighborhood for alleged deed restriction violation and her confessions of sending fines for things that arent deed restriction violations but that residents werent aware of that . Janis is the reason that I cannot even trust my friend anymore or stay friends with my friend.

I am writing this review to help save someone from the Janis Lowe experience. Janis Lowe was the buyers agent, I should be thrilled and have nothing to say... but let me tell you about my Janis Lowe experience. From the start, Janis wrote up an offer for my home. It was riddled with errors and had to be revised to correct them. This should have served as my first indication to go with a different offer. However we did go with her offer once it was revised. Regarding the home inspection, we countered the inspection report request with a very acceptable level of repairs.. nearly all requested items. The first response from Janis was very snarky and kept demanding more, at which point we requested a detailed list of items to be repaired and itemized so that there was no room for error and each party got what they needed out deal. Janis lashed out again at the request for details and was completely unprofessional. Each time there was a demand for more from the seller, she would attempt to dangle the offer over our heads implying that we should just agree and give give give. The problems with Janis do not stop there. Janis was demanding we included an item from the exclusions list for free, only again to rattle off her routine of "my clients offer was $XXX amount over asking" This was days before closing, I was literally at my witts end with dealing with Janis Lowe. Janis Lowe entered our home to measure for furniture with her client. Great, no problem! So you would think. Janis adjusted the thermostat to 70 degrees during her 1 hour session inside the home and never adjusted it back to where it was. The house was cooled to 70 degrees for over a week completely empty. This drove the power bill up on an empty house. There was no apology from Janis for her negligence. The industry standard for realtor's is NOT to touch the thermostat, but at a minimum one should return it to what it was set to prior to your entry into the home. On multiple occasions we were very close to pulling the deal with the house and going with another offer strictly because of how unprofessional and argumentative Janis was. Every single interaction with Janis was a new level of bullying tactics during a very hot housing market. Janis was doing no justice for her client by behaving this way.
