Surfside Beach Saltwater Charters

We booked the Live Action for an 8 hr trip. Unfortunately the weather did not quite cooperate so we didn't get to go out further for King but Capt. Kech was incredible and we had an amazing day of fishing. 32 keepers between 5 of us, including one red, two black tip sharks and 29 catfish! We caught over 50 fish easily. Kech was knowledgeable and fun and kept up with our pace. The boat was a bit tight for 5 but we are a close family and didn't mind getting friendly. This is the second trip we've made with Surfside and plan on making it a yearly (at least) trip. We highly recommend this charter, and be sure to ask for Kech, he's a winner!

Kevin & Steve were wonderful captains and put us on the fish!!!  It was an amazing morning on the water.  Steve started to chum and said, "Hopefully, the fish will start coming within an hour."  He obviously knew his stuff because were were reeling in monster red drum after monster red drum within the hour.  We also caught 3 Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks!  We had 3 children on the boat as well and Kevin & Steve are great with families.  I've been on other charters where the captains were crude and profane in front of my children, but Kevin & Steve were classy from start to finish.  Thank you to Kevin & Steve for an absolutely incredible morning on the water and for making a fish memory that will last a lifetime.

Had a great time a few weeks ago on one of their charters. Had a bit of a late start due to weather, and had to get fuel before heading out on the boat. While out there, the captain and deck hand were great. Captain Aaron was relaxed, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The deck hand Eric was helpful and easy going. The only real complaint I have about this is the size of the boat. We had a crew of 2 guys with 5 passengers. It seemed to be a bit crowded, but maybe thats just the way charter fishing goes. The trip was well planned, the boat was stocked well, and everything went perfectly. Because of the helpful and knowledgeable able crew, we came back with 2 Reds, and multiple catfish. Lots of fun with this one!
