If you are in the area, and you like Texas style BBQ, definitely stop by! Don't wait til almost close-time, as they sell out! Brisket is a must-try!

Really good BBQ although I can't fairly rate it all since they ran out of food at the end of the day due to the crowds in town for a total solar eclipse. But the staff was incredibly hard-working and the service was genuinely friendly and sincere - and they managed to keep their good humor in spite of what must have been an incredibly grueling day. The outdoor space was comfortable and inviting. I will definitely be back if I am in town again.

SUMMARY: The food was not worth the wait and frustrating experience. DETAILS The wait: We arrived at 2:15pm and waited 55 minutes to get through the line to sitting down with food. The line was at the first door to walk inside, so not a very long. The problem is that when we did get to the front, it was a bit disorganized. Many of the employees were young (teens) and didnt seem to know what to do. For comparison, Ive waited at Backwoods BBQ in FBG in lines 2-3x longer and never waited more than 30 mins to get through the line so theres some room for improvement to make things more efficient. The food: They were out of many meats including sliced brisket, ribs, pork, and both sausages. No mac and cheese, coleslaw or kimchi and we got the last 1/2 pint of beans. Due to such few options we tried the turkey (dried out) and chopped brisket. The best thing we had today were the pickles made in house. Overall it was super disappointing experience. If we ever try it again, it will be on a weekday.

Food is excellent! Definitely worth the wait, especially the jalepeno cheddar sausage and cream corn. And get the pickles on your sandwich. But, if they're going to have lines out the door, it seems as though they could be quicker/more efficient in their serving process.
