        Went and bought 1/4 of a cord of firewood due to the pending cold weather, got home and tried it out. Disappointed to see that the wood was too green, not seasoned and did not burn well or barely at all. Unfortunately I will have to go buy additional wood. Too bad there isn't a return policy.

        In past two weeks, I have purchased an 1/8th and a 1/4 cord of oak. Moisture content of both loads between 5 and 11 percent. Burns great.

        Was in need of a jag of firewood during our recent camping trip in Ruidoso. Called David at Gourmet Firewood for help after which he promptly solved our problem. The firewood was good quality pine and the area was beautiful. David was very hospitable and provided a lot of advice about the area. We look forward to visiting in the future and will be getting all of our firewood from David @ Gourmet Firewood. Jack & Jenice
