Went in to MK's after wasting almost a week waiting for a simple call back and a quote from Pepboys. MK's was extremely kind and polite as they helped me with gathering info about my car, and they had me quoted instantly over the phone. When I went in the next day, they ordered the part while I was there, charged me no more than they quoted me originally (which was about $200 less than a different shop I'd called), and had me out the door in about an hour. The car runs perfectly and I'm so grateful for the lack of stress and complications. I plan on returning for any future issues.
Also, I had to bring my dog due to a pest control treatment in my apartment and planned to just drop the car off and walk to a public area or somewhere. But they welcomed both me and my dog inside, introduced a dog of their own, and carried on a conversation with me while feeding my dog treats. I think this, paired with the red-haired gentleman's kindness, made me feel the most welcome I've felt in an auto shop ever. Thanks you guys!
