The hardware from a surgery eight years ago had failed. Ive never been pain free since that surgery. Still had to take daily narcotics or pain and regular nerve ablations. Talked to Dr. Booher, as with all back issues, he explained if I got 50% pain reduction, that would be considered a successful surgery. Im just over two months post-surgery from Dr. Booher. L4-S2 fused, and rods into my pelvis. I have ZERO back pain. Just the pain from healingwhich changes every dayand will just take time. But the pain Ive had for yearstotally gone. Granted, this cant be expected in every case, but he couldnt have done a better job. I couldnt recommend someone more that Dr. Booher.

Dr. Booher is a great listener. He was thorough and made me feel confident in my recovery from a previous spine surgery done by a different doctor in another state. He answered all my husband and Is questions, and I would definitely go back to his practice if I needed anything done by a neurosurgeon in TX.

I don't like doctors (in general), but Dr Booher is the kind of doctor that all doctors should strive to be.I liked and trusted Dr Booher so much that I let him operate on my neck! I can't say enough good things about Dr Booher. He is a kind, compassionate doctor who listens to his patients and has their best interests at heart. He treats patients like they are part of the team instead of just another warm body to operate on. He takes the time to discuss treatment options before jumping to surgery. We exhausted all of the non-surgical options before agreeing that ACDF surgery was the only option left. And, he's a very competent surgeon who explained the procedure and answered all my questions beforehand. He even went to bat for me with my insurance company! In the end, I am stronger and happier than ever and living a pain-free life. Thank you, Dr Booher!
