Ideal Turf Fort Worth

Avoid working with Ideal Turf at all costs!! They DO NOT stand by their work and as others have stated, they don't respond to emails, calls, or texts. They are holding my deposit and tried to triple my estimated cost from the quote they initially gave me...super shady company and will report them to the BBB. There are other turf companies to use in the metroplex, so steer clear of this one!!

Absolutely horrible company to work with post sales cash collection. We made our first warranty contact on 3/9/2023 and have yet to have any positive resolution. Poor product is not as advertised! The product does not drain or control odors as advertised and sold. We specifically asked detailed questions regarding odor having had three previous homes with turf for the dogs. This turf is horrific even with daily odor control sprays and who wants to use chemicals or other perfumed products daily with your furbabies in the area?? The dogs near refuse to use the area. $13,000 PLUS, PLUS! They damaged multiple marked irrigation lines as well as landscape wire taking out needed tree illumination in our dogs area. We spent an additional $1800 SO FAR on repairs. The owner, Tim Taylor, does not respond to e-mails, messages or phone calls. Karri OConnor has no authority to resolve customer issues without direct owner involvement and he is always out of town. The warranty manager doesnt even respond to calls, texts or emails. Almost daily contact since 3/9 and still no resolution. Warranty services post sale are non existent! Filed complaints with BBB (multiple complaints from others with BBB for similar issues) and filing with the Texas AG Consumer Protection division. Unfortunately at this point and after month, we will have to file a suit to resolve. Be extremely cautious working with this company as there is limited to no post sales warranty or customer service. Horrific how this company is managed.

Jason Utley with Ideal Turf was great with working with us for multiple quotes, amendments to the quotes, and facilitating scheduling of installation. From there, Tristan worked closely with us ensuring that issues that arose were handled quickly, professionally, and at a fair price. Francisco (I think it was Iberra) and his team were awesome, knocking out a nearly 1,500 sq ft installation of Blossom 98 turf in just two days, consulting with us for best practices with sprinklers, leveling/grading, and installing barriers along our fence lines. Francisco's team was punctual, left no mess behind, worked around existing trees, and the workmanship was solid. Ideal Turf also came in at a cheaper price than some of the other companies we requested quotes from.

Worked through Jason Lemke for our turf installation. The day of, nobody had arrived at the time we had coordinated so we reached out to Jason and Kari. Received a phone call from the crew that was supposed to do the installation and was informed that their vehicle and equipment had been stolen so they would have to coordinate the install for a later date. I cannot speak to the quality of their work yet; however, this is very typical of contractors to cancel on the day of the job and to only contact the customer after the customer reaches out. Would have appreciated a call earlier because I paid for doggy daycare for my big dogs, which I wouldn't have done if the installation wasn't going to occur. Will update this review once the work is scheduled and done. Update one day later: Also, Jason and the Ideal Turf staff have been very non-reaponsive so we are requesting a refund. Will not do business with a company like this. Be wary of this company if you chose to do business with them.

Hi Im going to have to give this company one star, I have been trying for months to get a warranty item fixed soon after they reinstalled my entire turf for poor workmanship. Im glad others had good experiences but Im guessing they havent had to call in for any warranty work yet. It would be nice if someone answered the main phone number, responded to emails or called me back. So far I have had to go to the extreme of messaging the owner himself on LinkedIn only to never get a response back from him either after telling me to try the website which had already been done. In the beginning they are great right until they finish the job and get your money. I am happy to share my experience with any new potential clients. I have photos and email threads out the ear, I promise Im not just angry to be angry. Please reach out with any questions.
