K9 Connection Dog Training

Brian did a great job working with Indy, our 10 month German shepherd, once a week for 6 weeks. We rescued her off the side of the road back in May and needed some guidance with training her and obedience. Brian has not only helped Indy become a better listener and all around better dog for our household but he has also helped coach my fianc and I on how to become better doggie parents to Indy. She is an angel on the leash now and actually listens and obeys us!

I wish we hired Brian when we first got our puppy at 12 weeks! But better late than never:) We boarded our girl Dani for 2 weeks for training and she cam back home so much better behaved. When you have a dog this smart and active they keep you on your toes and we realized she was training us! Brian helped us turn things around and we have improvement. Still work in progress and she listens to him better than to us but were getting there:) Highly recommend Brian and his training method.

10/10, I recommend Brian! As an analyst by day, I was extremely diligent in my research and had stringent requirements when looking for a dog trainer. At the time, I rescued an 8-week-old puppy. He has Pointer in him, so I knew training would be imperative with such a high-energy breed. Therefore, I interviewed many trainers with different approaches to dog training, and ultimately, Brian fit the bill. To be candid, he is NOT the cheapest out there, so prepare to view this as an investment; the training for me and my pup will last a lifetime. As a person, Brian is kind, a great teacher, and patient. He means "business" regarding training; this is important since I'm investing more than just money. Brian's training begins with building a solid foundation. During sessions, he teaches my dog using a calm yet firm technique. All the while, Brian is also "training" me. I observe and listen to Brian's instructions so I may replicate them outside of sessions. He first teaches my puppy then I execute to get Brian's insights and feedback. The tools and knowledge I gain during sessions will allow me to be consistent with my pup long after. I can also use the learned techniques with my senior dog. I've only paid Brian to train my puppy, but because of Brian's invaluable knowledge transfer, I've received training for myself and my other dog. Worth it!
