Finally a boarding place we can call home. I've taken my old pup Remy to many boarding places over the years, and while the vets and kennel techs have always treated him well, he would always be anxious, sometimes to the point of making himself sick or chipping his teeth from gnawing on his kennels. Not with this place. Jess is amazing. She saw right away that he was not going to do well overnight in a kennel, so she immediately suggested that she take him home at night to chill in a regular house with her family and dogs - I was nervous because my dog has had temperment issues with strangers in the past, but he felt right at home with her and her human and doggo family. This weekend is our fourth time boarding Remy with Jess, and when I dropped him off this morning he was - for the first time in his life - genuinely excited to be at boarding. He ran up to greet Jess like an old friend, and was running around the play room doing his little paw prance dance and wagging his tail like a puppy again. It made me so happy to see him stress free while we go away for the weekend. I no longer worry about him, and I am more than sure he's in amazing hands with Jess and her family. The pictures I included are pictures Jess sent me of Remy just making himself at home at her personal home in the evenings, but the boarding facility where they play during the day is amazing as well. I think Remy's big problem with play time at the other kennels was that it was scheduled time for short periods and not a very big area, which means that all of the young dogs were very very rambunctious and anxious to play, which was stressing him out, as it appears he has some social anxiety. But this place is an open - concept indoor / outdoor, and the space is absolutely massive. Plenty of room for dogs like mine who want to be *around* dogs but not interact with dogs, to just pick an out of the way place and chill out by themselves, which is what Remy mostly does, according to Jess. There is all sorts of safe play obstacles for the more energetic dogs to enjoy and even a big doggy pool for the swimmers during the warm months. When the weather is bad or too hot / cold, there is a decent sized indoor area for the dogs to enjoy, as well. The last time we boarded, she even cleaned his ears with the medicated cleanse I brought that keeps his frequent ear infections at bay, and trimmed his nails for me! This place is worth every cent. I am so glad we found them. Thank you for taking care of my baby, Jess!!!

We LOVE House of Wag, and more importantly, our dog loves it more! Every time he comes home, he just sleeps for the rest of the evening. Jess takes great care of all the pups, and you can tell she truly loves them all. The holiday photos are always amazing.
