Don't expect your appointment to be on time. The staff was polite but after a half hour of waiting after my scheduled time I decided to ask how late they were running. The receptionist said another hour! They were not telling anyone of a delay and had several individuals waiting for their appointments. The appointment was scheduled for 11:30 and if I didn't ask I would have been sitting in the lobby until 1pm (if not later.)

Jefferson Dental on 8th Ave was hands down a wonderful experience. This was my 1st visit to a dentist office and was nervous, nauseous and definitely embarrassed of my teeth and overall mouth. I came in to take care of an abcess and cavity. I was greeted by the receptionists and checkin was quick and easy, not too bad of a wait time. Mary (an assistant) was very nice from the time she called my name, to xrays, to making sure I was at ease. Mary gave me a sense of security and eased my nerves. When I expressed my concern and how embarrassed I felt about my teeth, she was very kind, comforting and reassuring, Dr Cotton was also very nice, he didn't make me feel embarrassed or bad in any way. Dr Cotton explained the plan for me and made me happy to know I can have my issues resolved. Parker the hygienist was by far the best, she was attentive, gentle and concerned for my well being. I had a cleaning and she made sure I was comfortable at all times, that I was ok, and I did not feel any pain what so ever despite the scraping, flossing, and the picking, it has been an amazing experience. If you are scared or nervous and just do not like going to the dentist, you might be goiing to the wrong place, I recommend Jefferson dental 8th Ave. for a serene, and wonderful experience. Definitely recommend, and will have any and all dental needs taken care of at this location.

The hygienist Mirria that done her work on my teeth was gentle but done a great job very thorough and polite and the x- ray tech Fernando also was very perecise and polite and thorough had the pleasure of meeting Dr.Cotton very polite answered all my questions directly and to the point and every time I changed chairs and while all the work being performed the office manager Becca was in several times checking on everything being done not just in the area I was in she was checking on everybody all through the facility I went to the restroom nice and clean throughout the whole facility I would and have been recommend this office to any and all .
