Several times during the past 10 or 12 years when I found myself once again in possession of a computer that have gone on the fritz (for whatever reason), I didn't really sweat it. And that was because I knew with full confidence that I could turn to the computer masters at University Computers for their able assistance. Two days ago, on October 17th, I drove down to UC located at 3334 West 7th Street here in Fort Worth. I hand-carried in my faulty HP desktop computer shortly after nine in the morning and was pleasantly greeted with a warm smile by Melody, the gracious lady who runs the service and transaction counter area. Although it's been years since I last crossed the threshold into the UC premises, Melody remembered me, and I of course remembered her. I don't easily forget people who are genuine and nice.
Well, as expected, the problem with my computer was fully corrected. It was fixed in a quick turn-around time (just mere hours in my case). The repair was done by Nick, a likeable, soft-spoken computer technician who obviously knows his trade. In closing, my visit to University Computers was quite satisfying. Even the overall service and repair cost in my humble opinion was fair and reasonable in spite of the fact that we are being plagued by serious inflation and overall higher cost for everything.
