Being new to the area and state of Texas, finding a facility that was more then a daycare was important to me. I personally toured several locations within my area and none made me feel comfortable enough to leave my daughter as Ivybrook did. The staff is simply amazing, very welcoming and loving. The classrooms are very well set up and engaging for all age groups to explore. My daughter absolutely enjoys going to school and I have enjoyed seeing the growth she has made in her short time attending.

Ivybrook Academy in Flower Mound has been the perfect addition to our weekly routine. Since starting there this school year, my daughters developmental skills have made leaps! The curriculum that is offered is perfectly tailored to her age group. The staff go even beyond that to make sure my daughter has access to things that meet her specific interests. Theres so many different ways to learn and explore with both indoor and outdoor spaces. My daughter looks forward to going every school day and talks about it when its not a school day! The Ivybrook Academy staff has made us feel at home from the moment we met them. Its clear everyday we walk in the door that they are there to support my daughter through these difficult toddler years. I have also greatly appreciated the communication with the staff as it is always prompt and thorough. If you havent made the jump, Ivybrook Academy is the way to go!

Ivybrook has been my 3 year old daughters (& mine as a parent) first introduction to school. On the surface, there is great appeal to this school due to it being a brand new facility (built from the ground up this summer/fall 22) as well as having a very unique curriculum honoring the autonomy of each child, while fostering collaboration. That would be enough for most folks, but where this school really impresses is its execution of its mission, values & masterful use of the tools at its disposal. This does not occur by osmosis, as we all know. It happens as the result of an amazing staff guiding & facilitating its vision. Mr. Scott is the leader of this vision. His diligence, kindness & communication skills/accessibility sets the foundation for creating a very healthy learning environment. Ms. Kris, the principal, is an instrumental leader in the schools instant success. To me, Ms. Kris feels like the quintessential Mama Bear. Someone who is maternal and nurturing, while creating a strong sense of safety and trust. Prior to the building being complete, Ivybrook hosted play date events exemplifying the teaching-learning style the kiddos would be experiencing. Since the very first event, my typically guarded daughter did not hesitate to hold Ms. Kriss hand and walk off to join the others. As a mother, no words can express the comfort this instills. Something especially important to me, is that there have been no opportunities missed to make my daughters first experience of school special. Again, setting the tone & foundation for a liking/love, safety and appreciation for what school life has to offer. Now, I can go on & on detailing every single reason/example why I would recommend this school a million times over, inclusive of: the amazing & highly competent educators (with impressive credentials & experience), and professionalism while creating a loving, family vibe but I think my daughters own words capture the love of learning at Ivybrook succinctly. I asked her, what do you like about your school? Of which she enthusiastically replied, I like my school because its just so fun! What more could you ask for?! In this short time of being part of the Ivybrook family I have already seen tremendous growth in my baby girlits such a joy to watch & comforting to know she is in such good hands!
