    Made an appointment for today which was Friday March 3, 2023 between 9:30am and 10:00am. No one called and no one showed up.

    My experience has been awful. The installation was messy and inadequate. The crew was late on arrival and left after 4 hours leaving the job incomplete. The installation crew left my home a mess, they did not have a proper vacuum to clean up the carpet fibers. The used a broom to sweep off the baseboards and ran a home vacuum over the rooms quickly while not getting half the carpet fibers. The installers did not install the carpet correctly. They left a large seam and did not cut the carpet long enough and it does not even go under the baseboards. There are actual spaces from the walls. Some of the corners were not tucked under the baseboards just left out. I left texts and called the store their response was slow. When I let Mike Puente know my dissatisfaction he told me "he has nothing left to say to me. He would pass this along to the installation group." The entire experience has been bad down to the salesman and the installation crew. All I would like is another installation team to come out and repair and the errors and clean up properly. Not too much to ask for when you hired them to carpet over 1800 square feet.

    We hired Peek's Floor in Highland Park to replace flooring in 3 rooms with LVP. The person who came out to measure apparently didn't do it correctly because she underestimated the amount of trim needed (I think they only brought half of what was needed) and overestimated the amount of flooring (we were left with an excess of flooring that we paid for). The job was done and looked good, except for missing transition trim in several areas. Also several places where the quarter round was installed as a transition from the LVP to the baseboard was loose and had to be fixed later. I was told that the trim was being ordered and they would be in touch. Several weeks went by and no word. At some point my credit card was charged (we had paid 75% up front) $700 more than the estimate with no bill to show what I was being charged for and the job not even done. I called the salesperson I had been dealing with and she was surprised that the job wasn't finished and I was charged. She said she would find out and they would refund me the money until the job was finished. I was told at least three times I would have my money refunded which was never done. More weeks went by and I finally threatened to contact the BBB and then they got in action. Each time I called the person I talked to would have no idea about our order and would promise to get to the bottom of it and call me back. They never did until my threat. If customer service and organization is important to you, avoid Peek. The upper management doesn't seem to be customer oriented.
