        Very unhappy with Bearcat 980SSB .. bought radio last year (7-23-2020) .. the display went out .Contacted Uniden .. they said my radio was out of warranty and I would have to front the bill .. the display lasted less than a year .. they there know to fail .. nice work uniden !

        They received my scanner on February 1 for repair here it is March 8th done charged me and haven't even been looked at 14 day turn around is a joke and keep getting lied to one min its fixed and est ship was February 28 to now hasn't even been taken out of the box for repair ove always like uniden products but the customer service sucks

        Sent in Uniden BCD 435HP for repair per Uniden. Uniden sent a FedX prepaid label. Sent in on May 23, 2020 and Uniden said they never received it. The one person from Uniden saying it never left my location but Uniden has washed their hands of this and now they don't know where the scanner is. I have another Uniden representative that said they received it, fixed it and sent it back by FedX but I don't have it as of July 7, 2020. Uniden now just says to contact their corporate office. That has not worked as no one will return call. I am missing a $400 scanner and no help...

      Do you have the receipt? It sounds like it has been less than a year and should still be under warranty. I see in our system that you called about a display problem, but it was dated 4/29/19 so I'm not sure if this is the same unit or not.If you have the receipt, see info at repair.uniden.com for return instructions. Thanks, and sorry for the product trouble.
