Flower Mound Building Inspection

Permit office doesnt have a clue what theyre doing. I got a permit for a job and then after the job was done theyre asking me for documents before they can sign off on the approval but that shouldve been done prior to issuing the permit and when doing inspections they refer you to the portal but under the portal it only asked for all finals so I submitted for the final inspection and now theyre telling me I didnt get all of the inspections done theres no place to request it. They also did go out to inspect the wall and inspected And said it was too tall but they measured from the wrong side of the wall

Dealt with Theresa in environmental services regarding a septic plan reroute for a swimming pool install. She was nothing but helpful and patient as I am not very familiar with the septic systems in regards to installing swimming pools.

Terrible!!! I was told unless its an emergency it takes 5 to 7 days to receive a requested permit. Now I have sat on hold for over 15 minutes just trying to schedule an inspection because their site won't allow me to. Worst city Ive ever dealt with. Every other city releases permits within 24 hours and answers the phone in a timely manner.
