    Lived here for a year, after moving out charged me 500$ for dirty apartment (it was cleaned before moving out) and for broken door and paint (it was before I moved in and I shared it to lease agent and added to move in checklist) Expect elevator is out of order for weeks every month (be aside they are waiting special parts) The roof is leaking

    UPDATE: It's been over 4 months and still they have not fixed the security system. The entire complexs security system has been down since before Christmas 2023 and the office staff says it cannot be fixed. The system needs to be replaced yet they are waiting for a company to bid on the project and have no idea then the system will be replaced and functional. Its been 3 months since the system has been down and zero updates have been given. I would think resident security would be a top priority but I guess not here.

    My husband and I lived at Elora at Lakeside for the last 7 years. It was a great home and gave us a true sense of community. The management team was responsive to all of our needs. They too made us feel welcome and valued. We recently transferred to Arizona for a job but otherwise would still be at Elora. We would like to especially thank Micheline and Charlie for going above and beyond to make our time at Elora comfortable and our move seamless! Our best apartment experience by far in the DFW area!

    I am updating my post now that I have been in the complex about 1 year. The apartment interiors are very nice and the location is good, but my main callout would be package deliveries. I have had several packages stolen since I moved in. The frustrating part is when the residents were advised by management to get a Parcel Pending account as packages would not longer be left outside the apartment doors. I paid the $20 and got an account so my packages would be put in a secure locker, yet packages are still being left outside my door and are thus being stolen. What is more frustrating is when management has asked if I advised the shipping service to put the package in the locker. Nowhere on the Parcel Pending site does it say you are required to advise the shipping service where to put the parcel and sometimes my packages are from family who send it without me knowing. This would be my only callout for the complex. They need a better way of ensuring packages are put in the locker and not placed outside the apartment doors.

    I lived at these apartments for about two years. For the first few months there, the key fob access to my building was broken which was very inconvenient, but this was eventually fixed. I also had to repeatedly call maintenance because my AC kept going out during the summer - at one point the temperature inside my unit was almost 90 degrees. I'd also heard tenants complaining that packages got stolen or delivered to the wrong address almost daily, but luckily I never had this issue. Overall, the units are very nice and modern. The amenities are great and the apartment complex is in a very nice area with lots of restaurants. The reason for the 3-star review is because of how they handled the move out process. Before I left, I had the apartment professionally cleaned, but I was Elora kept my deposit and charged me with a $140 carpet cleaning fee and other move out fees on top of this. When I turned in my keys the apartment was spotless and the carpet was as clean as it was when I moved in. It was a huge hassle with them to dispute these charges, and they even sent the bill to collections. Everything about the move-out process is a money grabbing scheme. Note to any future tenants: make sure to get someone to do a walk through with you and document as much as possible.
