I have used two different companies to move my mom from place to place in a wheelchair. Lakeway takes the cake in every way--the vehicles, the drivers, the cost, the customer service, the ease and reliability of scheduling. The best!

Needed transport for wife from Austin to Victoria [TX]. Most providers declined or failed to return call. Traci at Lakeway accepted and gave estimate immediately. She showed up on time with recliner wheelchair for comfort. Her background as nurse was useful in assisting hospital staff to carefully move my wife. I'd call Lakeway first anytime I needed medical transport.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the service Tracie and Bahjat provide! Tracie returned a call late on a Saturday when I was looking for transport for my mother. After trying two other transport companies, my mom was at the point of giving up until we met them! Not only do they go out of their way to support the patient, they are there for the family as well. They come equipped with so much knowledge and can offer other solutions if needed. I am so grateful for all they have done! I would definitely recommend them for transportation or any medical device need!

One Word Fantastic. I have had two experiences with this company over the last week and was unaware of them before. On Thanksgiving Day, we were excited for a day with my elderly mother who resides in a nursing home and confined to an electric chair. However, my mothers handicap van ramp broke. In a panic, I Googled for a transport service and luckily (if you have used any of these services, you know what I mean), found Tracie at Lakeway Mobility. She was booked for the day but understood my situation. Tracie made scheduling adjustments and oddly had an immediate opening. She travelled to Dripping Springs and picked up my mother at the nursing home, brought her to our home and came back at 8 pm for the return trip. All went off perfectly. The van was clean and looked new. Tracie was amazing and made my 85 yr old mother feel safe and comfortable. A truly professional experience. Not at all what you get with other, untrained services. Today, my mother had an eye exam but we had the transport scheduled by a no cost, insurance covered company. I called this morning to confirm the time and was told no drivers were available today. Even though I made the appointment last week. Soooo, I found myself with yet another need for same day handicap transport. I located Tracies card, and once again she found time in her schedule to transport my mother to her appt. Then she waited for my mother at her appointment so she could bring her back home. Unexpectedly, this took 2 hours. Did you readshe waited. Never before has a transport company waited. They always leave and we have to call when the appointment is done and wait for them to return. Again, if you use these services, you know what I mean. Now, what was the cost of all this? Surprisingly affordable. As you know these services at times feel like they are taking advantage of the situation. Not Lakeway Mobility. The cost was higher than a taxi or Uber for non-handicapped folks but nowhere near what I have paid other service companies. On a personal note, Tracie felt like more of a friend than a transport service. Talking with my mother during her trips and even offered their discount program for frequent users. I know. Long post and I dont do many of these but believe me when I tell you that Lakeway Mobility and specifically one of the owners, Tracie more than deserves the publicity. No, I am not employed by or a friend of the owners. Yes I am a new, super impressed customer. I only hope that their inevitable growth will keep the high level of personal service.
