Owner Operators Beware! Houston Dry Bulk Division Absolutely the worst in business.. They will translate contract verbiage the way they see fit. Especially if the think you do not know any better. Pay days are in Monday’s, you’ll be lucky to see O/O settlements deposited on Wednesday. Escrow will be refunded if and when they feel like it. Rules call for no later then 45 days. Sunset says 45 days not including weekends, holidays or rain days. Truck was damaged and lease states if done by their vendor/ customer that they will cover.. yeah right! $2800 out the window.. Will not pay over weight ticket that their customer changed the weight on to show as being under 80,000 and never notifying driver. The Houston Term is full of favoritism liars and snitches. They will work the outside brokers before O/O and say that they are dedicated to Sunset. O/O sit home and pay mandatory fees. Higher percentages, 165 a week mandatory insurance and mandatory trailer rental if you hv their trailer. But they will work the brokers. Average 6 - 8 loads a week and he puts more brokers on. They can keep my escrow. I’m filing with legal for breach of contract on several issues!

Worst drivers. Can #6407 entered 35 southbound prior to Royal lane; and proceeded to cross two lanes to enter; cutting me off. I blared my horn thinking he would realize he was taking two lanes; and he continued on. Totally ignorant.
