What a great bunch of guys and very honest mechanics. I have had a full brake replacement and major cooling system repairs done with high satisfaction. These guys are honest about the necessary repairs and their pricing. I highly recommend this locally owned business for any of your automotive repair needs.

Will not be going back to this shop, very disorganized. I should have known from the first visit when Jeremy gave me someone elses receipt had to take the time to go back in the shop to show him and get the correct one. The main issue was when Jeremy told me to order a part from amazon and then finding out 2 months later that a part I payed over 500 dollars for was not even used or returned to me Jeremy did not put the part back in my truck and nothing was clear, they did not have the invoice or the shipping paperwork they had nothing and it did not even look like all the parts were back in the box when I finally got it back. I also bought a radio that i think he kept and he put a generic low quality piece of equipment in my truck. This was all shady and i still do not clearly know exactly what all he did that is why i will not be back. I am pretty sure he would have wanted a part he bought returned back to him if it was not used. Its misfortunate when a business thinks they can just treat their customers any kind of way. Also when i tried to get ahold of someone else in the shop about another matter, Jeremy has his personal phone as the business phone, so i could not even leave a message for somebody else there, and he was aggravated that I was calling. Well heres an idea let calls go to an answering machine if you do not want to be disturbed after business hours. Everyone else in the shop was real nice and I Had no problems with but I will not be back because of Jeremy's carelessness and just do not trust him. No thank you for the aggravation you have caused I will take my money somewhere else!

The staff here in Elgin Automotive is very knowledgeable and have very fair prices. Im glad I called around and found them. Ill be sure to see them the next time I need any kind of auto care!
