The Five Star Manor Events Ballroom

The place in itself is nice,I can't say the same about the server's. Unfortunately one female was extremely rude, then they started taking off the table toppers way early like crossing us just to remove them. I wouldn't hire the same servers ever.

To start off the ballroom itself is beautiful and spacious. The waitstaff, bartender and security guard were amazing and very attentive. Leading up to the day of my parents wedding Joe was very helpful in the fact that I wouldnt be able to make the Photo Booth payment until a few days before their special day. $350 was payed for blurry pictures and dress up gadets aka 5 hats. We show up to the venue the Thursday before for Rehearsal and we are made aware that we are the only ones joe had for the day and the ballroom is hot as if he only arrived a few minutes before; he reassured us that the day of the ac would be turned on early so the hall would be cool yet it still was extremely hot. At the rehearsal we went through all of our information, the entrances, songs to be played etc. Joe before hand informed us that if we had any request for songs or genre the DJ would be able to play what we wanted. Fast forward to the day of and my parents song was not played for when they came in, we asked for Cumbias to be played as soon as the entrance was over and that wasnt what was played. Anytime we asked for a certain genre there was only 1 song played then back to whatever he wanted. I requested for a special song to be played for me and my father to dance and he told me he couldnt when it was obvious he was using YouTube to find most of the music played.

We had my moms wedding there recently. They offered a candy/dessert bar when I called for more information, I met up with joe to pay it and I specifically asked for DESSERTS elegance and he said no problem Ill make a note. Keep in mind he charged $350. Come to my surprise the day of the event his idea of a dessert table was mints, lollipops from like dollar tree and like Mexican stuff. The only dessert on the table were tiny green white and I think blue cupcakes from Walmart. Im sorry but how does that equal to 350??? There was basically no dessert at all. Then my sister paid $350 for a Photo Booth, tell me why you couldnt even see what the pictures were? They were all blurry. And to top it off it was hot af in there. No slide show was played nor did they play the song my mom and step-father requested for their entrance. Dont get my wrong the hall itself and the staff were great, but I would recommend if you book here, go with outside venders. Its about the same price however you get what you actually want and its worth your money.
