Merengue Dominican Restaurant and Bar

I took my wife and kids to try to get some good food, very disappointed, nothing that we wanted was available you had to eat from the 5 plates available that they had, they didn't even have a Sprite for my wife because they ran out. Food below average no seasoning. Horrible my kids left to eat at McDonald's because the food wasn't good the meat was hard overcooked.

Great place to eat and have fun with friends. Love that I was able to find my dominican and Caribbean dishes, drinks and music in El Paso. More

We went with our expectations really high and left disappointed. Our food was cold and bland. My kids got the chicken fingers with fries and it was very bland. My husband and I asked for similar plates, which had Mangu, rice (his had salad), and pernil. The meat was dry and very bland as well, and to top it off - cold. The mangu was dry and salty. We asked for our food to be reheated, and even after they "did," the food was still cold. Also asked for a long Island and it tasted more like soda and sweet tea than a cocktail drink. Overall, I do not recommend this place. Instead, I recommend 787 Restaurant & Bar off Airport Rd which is way better.
