I do show that we did the following in your case: filed pleadings, appeared at numerous hearings wherein opposing counsel unsuccessfully attempted to have his client's child support payments reduced, negotiated with opposing counsel, and scheduled and attended mediation. Then opposing counsel withdrew from representation. Although based on the noncustodial parent’s income he should have been paying substantially less child support and was entitled to a modification, we were able to hold off his attorney for about 18 months in which you continued to receive an amount of child support that was significantly more than what the law provided based on the non custodial parent’s income. Therefore we were able to keep for you the much higher child support amount for a much longer period of time than what the law entitled you to.Then I see from the file notes that you began to request services that were outside the scope of my representation including that we investigate the Attorney General for fraud and that we recover certain taxes and other payments. I did explain to you that this was outside the scope of my representation. No one from this firm has ever blocked you from calling, and you are always free to call and ask questions. Hope this helps!
