Big Sky Ranch by Meritage Homes

So, so sad to see our beautiful Texas hill country being developed in such a tacky and thoughtless way! There is nothing good to say about Big Sky Ranch other than location. The postage stamp lots and cookie cutter row houses are disappointing to say the least! The only yard near the house is a dinky front yard and they already look cluttered and obviously inadequate tor families with children. Alley garages/driveways are just solid concrete and safety hazard overall. Homes are so close together you can barely fit mower between them! Just a sad and frustrating discovery and observance for Native Texan. Shame on you Dripping Springs and Meritage. Development codes shouldn't allow this type of planned community! Ugh!!! So sad!

Ive experienced shoddy workmanship, even after upgrading every possible part of my home. Finally got some things repaired, but only after complaining constantly. No pride in their craft it seems. They are now filling the Neighborhood with cookie cutter townhouse style homes. The garages arent large enough for pickup trucks, and I live in Texas! Would never recommend Meritage to anyone.
