    Hard to reach, emailed them a lot with no response. Gave us only one bartender when we paid for two. Bartender was rude to my guests at my wedding - heard from multiple people. (I'm sure they were overworked and frustrated since there were supposed to be two of them). Wouldn't recommend, not reliable for a wedding.

    Most well priced bartending service I could find and normally that could be risky with service but the two ladies that came to the event were very sweet and cute! All of the guests really enjoyed their personalities and they looked like they were having a good time and not miserable working which was a relief! All drinks were given at a very quick speed and with a smile. I definitely recommend this business for any future events!

Hey Rafaella. I'm so sorry about the experience that you had at your wedding. I do admit, I was caught off guard when I saw this, as I thought the night ended very well and had heard nothing since that evening, just to getting notified of the 1-star review 35 days later with no communication between the event and now. I want to just go over some information, from my side, that I have. For starters, I've gone through every conversation that we have had between our company and yourself. I only saw one time where there was an issue with a response. I did apologize and you seemed very understanding that it was wedding season, as you did not wait longer than 48 hours (most were within 24 hours) for a response at any other time. On November 22nd, we were notified for your 12/8 wedding that you wanted to change the initial service that we were going to provide and add additional services. Not a problem, I went ahead and updated everything and got it out to you that same day. When you changed the package, you just purchased the additional services and was credited back, on the invoice, the cost for the 2 bartenders, in which the new invoice stated bartender(s), which means, that we would provide the amount of bartenders that SGE saw fit for the evening. After confrontation the night of the event, about the fact that there was only one bartender and you wanted 2, I then called someone else in, which they came right over after they completed their other bartending job, as they were the closest one available. I also want to address that I personally worked your wedding that evening. There were only 2 people that I interacted with that gave me any issues or attitude. Professionally, I can do nothing but take it. My job, my references, my reputation all depend on me and my staff keeping a level head, no matter the situation. We do run into people wanting to be confrontational at times and our best strategy is to just 'kill them with kindness.' It is what I preach and train my staff to do and even have a smile as part of their dress code in our handbook. Sometimes it's just better off nodding in agreement and walking away to diffuse the situation. That being said, I was in no way rude to any of the guests that evening and am pretty caught off guard by the fact that anyone said I was anything but pleasant, maybe except the couple of people that may have been displeased by my lack of reaction when they so openly treated me with disrespect. The only thing that I can think of is maybe me saying "no" was being considered as rude, but the only instance that I can think of where I would have said that is if someone asked me for something that broke any rules, whether it was venue, SGE, or State rules, in which “no” would have not been my initial response, but a more professional way of saying that I couldn’t do something. Maybe it was when I was repeatedly confronted about the want for the second bartender, in which was eventually gotten? Other than that, I can honestly think of nothing.Again, I am sorry that you had a less than stellar experience with our company. It's not what we strive for in any manner. I would suggest that if you have any issues with a company in the future, to directly reach out and let them know the issue before posting a negative review, as there are always 2 sides to every story. Our main employees are teachers, high school and college students, and parents that work with us for extra income or a main source of income. We are not Target or Starbucks; we are a small business that’s main goal is to strive to do the best and make sure the client is happy and has an unforgettable experience in the best way possible. By posting a negative review without contacting the company first and getting the additional details about how things transpired, this can have drastic repercussions for not just the company but all the amazing people that the company employs also.
