Anthony got the job done quickly and for a great deal. We needed new fences on the front of our home with a new gate and he was the man for the job. If youre in the market for a new fence give Kingdom Fences a call.

DO NOT HIRE: UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE THE RISK OF BEING ROBBED!!!! *STOLE OVER SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM ME *HAS NOT RESPONDED SINCE NOVEMBER 13TH I am transitioning to a large piece of land and needed woven wire fencing around the entire perimeter. In late September, I inquired with the owner of Kingdom Fences, Anthony Mickens, about hiring him for the job and seeking a quote. During this time, he was very attentive, visited the property with one of his employees, emailed me the best price out of all of the quotes given by other contractors and we agreed to officially move forward on specifically Oct 4th. As of Oct 7th, he met me again at the property, did a final look through while being accompanied by another one of his employees and I handed him a certified cashiers check for a total of $7,482 ($1,750 for a deposit towards labor + $5,732 for 100% material cost); which he cashed the very next day through Woodforest National Bank of Woodlands TX (per a bank trace performed/confirmed by my bank). Within the next few days, this owner informed me that he was donated a trailer located in Beaumont TX and that he would begin the work once he returned, due to needing the trailer to complete this job more effeciently. He texted me on Oct 13th saying that he had recieved the trailer that day, would move all the materials to the site and begin stringing the perimeter (in preparation of setting the posts, etc). It was at this point when my experience doing business with this owner took a terrible, unprofessional turn for the worst. On Oct 14th, he claims to have been followed on his way to the property and was in fear of his life, so he called the police and did not begin the work. Two days later, he sends me another text claiming that both his trucks, along with the u-haul trailer had been towed. Four days from this news, he texts me with another story of one of his employees stealing the $7K from out of his truck, that all he's been able to purchase are the three gates that I had in my bid for the fence and that the only labor he has been able to do is remove the existing barbwire from the front of the property and mow down the over grown grass/weeds that was on the front property line. He stated that he takes pride in his business's rating, so he would preform all the labor for free but he needed for me to take the remaining amount ($5,250) that was for his labor costs and use it towards the materials; otherwise he couldn't complete the job. I was unavailable to address these issues until Oct 27th, in which we had a phone conversation and I requested proof of the towing issue, him being followed, theft of my money that was in his possession, etc etc. Two days later, he texted, that he was having trouble providing the police report copy (and conviently ignored providing proof that his property being used for this job was ever towed). For clarity, I asked if he made a police report on all the issues/stories he had told me so far. He texted back that he ONLY filed a report on him being followed - NONE FOR MY $7K SUPPOSEDLY STOLEN?! As of Nov the 3rd, I gave him my decision, which was for him to purchase the materials himself, whether he needed to take out a loan, etc was not my problem, complete the work to my satisfaction and then I would pay the remaining bid amount. I gave him until the end of that week to give me an answer and provide the proof that I had been requesting since Oct the 27th; otherwise, there was no deal of us moving forward and since he claimed to be such a "christian," I reminded him of his need to repent and bring this issue back to righteousness or be qualified to suffer righteous judgement according to the scriptures that he claims to believe in. Nov 9th, yet another story from him of being in a car accident, waiting on insurance money, etc. Nov 12th claiming he sent my text from the Nov 3rd to the FBI. Final text from him way back on Nov 13th hoping to recieve a loan. I WANT MY $7K! THE FACTS SHOW, HE'S NOTHING BUT A CROOK AT WORST & HORRIBLE IN BUSINESS AT BEST!!!!
