I would give anything to be able to speak to a owner/ owners. I contacted Southwest on 1/30/23 as they were closing due to weather. I spoke with Jonathan(On two doors) told him I would email him what doors I needed so that he would have info upon return to work or could forward to his supplier. On 2/14 I reached back out(via original email) after not hearing from him. After no response I called Feb 17, spoke to Jon a manager told him my frustration, that I was a contractor and this was for a project in the works. He told me he would follow up with Jonathan and have him call me. On Feb 21st after no response I called again. Jon told me he thought it was sent to me, but he was mistaken the request to there supplier was sent and Jonathan should be following up by end of the week. Today, 3/17 after no response I call again to get Jonathan on the phone. He has no clue who I am, or any information and said oh well I guess our supplier has not responded. As a contractor this is exactly what we battle, sub par suppliers, lazy people and zero communication or lack of care. Jonathan could care less whether he got this information or even if he called me back. In this situation I am sure Jonathan feels like a complete failure, the manager has no leadership to step up and take charge and now the result is they probably are too embarrassed to call me even if they do get info back from supplier(if they do after this review I am sure they will jack the price up so they do not have to deal with my company). These two doors are custom, probably a $9-11k sale for this company yet no one cares, no one knows how to create a sense of urgency anymore or how to follow through much less follow up. Lastly there is no way I am the only person who has experienced such a lack of professionalism from this company. The last time I bought doors, they made them wrong, sent a driver from 3 hours away to pick up which he had to stay over night why they rectified the situation. I felt like sense I deal with business ownership I would try again, well they have stood by there standards. I would stay as far away from this place as possible. Go down the road to Yee Haw Builders Surplus, they have a huge selection of doors and those people are eager to help. Anything custom I would buy online, if you were going to have to deal with this type of behavior mine as well do it online because I promise it will be cheaper for the headache.

We used SW Door and Window for an iron front door several years ago. If youre reading this review you know how pricey these doors are. After a few years, the finish began to crack and peel at the bottom of the door severely. I contacted the company and was told the finish isnt under warranty. Something had to be done as it looked terrible, so they recommended a a specific painter to refinish it. We paid for this out of our own pocket but used who they recommended. It looked good. Almost exactly one year later, it started cracking and peeling again in the *exact* same spot (the bottom of the door that is underneath the glass). I directly contacted the same contractor who repainted it last time for advice. He had since left the company and told me (direct quote), The truth is coming out. There is a problem with these doors. We reached out to Brandon Devore (SWD owner) yet again. He agreed to come take a look at the door and did so. He said he would get back to us after doing some research and talking to some people. This was several months ago. He now will not respond. Ive sent multiple emails/voicemails and have been totally ghosted. So here I am left with a finish thats AGAIN peeling and cracking off my black iron door and its just a short matter of time before it will again look terrible. I cannot recommend this company. I have hired Southwest Door and Window twice in the past - 2013 and again in 2014. For those projects I would rate five stars for the window replacements as well as a custom door we had made. I contacted them again this July and was put in contact with Kay. She was not always terribly personable and misplaced my paperwork several times through the process. Measurements were taken and it took some time to try and most closely match what was replaced in the past. Once this was done, I spoke with Kay on the phone and she said the lead time would be 20-22 weeks. I said that would be fine and go ahead. I was told she would put in the order and there was no other communication so I assumed nothing else was needed from me. I reached out this week (now December) to find out if there were any updates on the arrival. Kay responded that she did not place the order and basically blamed me for it not being done. I asked to speak with Brandon, the owner, whom I had always dealt with in the past. I was supposedly transferred to him and I left a message. Two business days later, no response. Extremely disappointed that five stars have gone to less than zero, if that were possible. Extremely disappointed that I have given referral for a company that obviously no longer values does our business. Services: Vinyl window installation & replacement, General door installation

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. First off I ordered 8 doors for an apartment complex. It took 3 months to get the doors. When the doors came in I had to wait another month before the installers came out. Once the installers came out it was unreal how the first door was installed. I have pics to prove it. The door didn't close, it had a 1" gap at the bottom and was rubbing at the top. The door was completely crooked. But the worst was yet to come. The molding was so crooked that I had to asked this company installers to stop what they was doing and leave because I was going to find a different door company to install the doors. This is outrageous that a door company cannot install doors. Save yourself a horrible headache and find a different company. An average joe off the street will do a better job. I can go on and on about how horrible this company. Check the photos if you don't believe me.
