Mimi's Wig Boutique

At first I thought I wouldnt find anything because i wanted a real hair wig but the synthetic wigs here are actually very nice. Was able to find one that looks identical to my hair. I didnt realize boutiques like this existed. Its sort of like a hair stylist appt, someone helps u try different wigs and they can even cut them or style them minimally to your preference. The workers were quiet, a bit too serious but overall they were very nice and helped me find something perfect after all the ones I was declining due to having too much volume.

My understanding is that their Texas store has the largest selection of wigs in a brick & mortar store--i'm planning a vacation just so I can go there! They have an online store as well and the wigs are shipped out from their brick & mortar--not from some warehouse. They personally check each wig before it ships to you and they will do wig cuts and alterations as the wig alliws. They carry all the best top brands. Watch the you tube or Facebook live show on Wednesdays, you'll get a feel for who they are.

Took my mom to Mimi's to pick out a new wig for a mother's day gift. We had a great experience trying on wigs and purchased an Ellie Willie one for $300. My mom took it home, and the fibers of the wig began to shed before she could even wear it. She has many wigs due to prolonged hair loss and has not had this experience with any previously purchased wigs. She attempted to exchange the wig 3 days after purchase (with tags on, obviously unworn) and was told by the store owner/manager that they did not allow returns or exchanges under any conditions. Very disappointed in this response and would not recommend given their treatment of my mom.
