image The vet was extremely rude during his follow-up phone call. We expressed a genuine medical concern with our dog's health. Our male puppy has been peeing in his sleep and walking around peeing while completely oblivious to this plus had funny-smelling discharge. The vet:
1. Tried to DISSUADE us from pursuing further testing when the initial urinalysis came back negative for a UTI.
2. Insisted we were just being poor pet owners and needed to take our dog out more.
3. Called me "sweetheart" during our phone conversation
4. Consistently dismissed my concerns and insisted that only female dogs that are older suffer from these symptoms.
5. Did not fill my flea, tick, and heartworm preventative meds request.
Normally I have good experiences with Banfield and love the clinic on Skillman, but they were full, and we were concerned. In the future, I'd rather cough up triple the amount of money to go to an emergency clinic and have people MAYBE at least SOUND like they care about my pet.

image If I could give zero stars I would. Have been coming here for about 4 years since I used to live at the apartment complex across the street. Since covid they take the dogs to the back and dont let you go into a room. Just recently my dog had his first seizure ever and I was very worried and beyond scared, I called them immediately as soon as they opened at 7 to see if he could come in to get looked at. The woman who answered the phone had zero sympathy, said they were booked the next few days and that he couldnt be seen even if it was an emergency. Gave me zero recommendations for good ER clinics theyd recommend taking him to, never reassured me about his health, nothing. They lost a customer, found a really great vet clinic near by that was so nice and took me in immediately. Stay AWAY from large corporate vet clinics and go local where they actually care and treat you like family and NOT another bill for them to cash in on. Banfield you are horrible.
