This is a well run operation but you shouldnt have to wait over an hour in the waiting room, some patients waited longer. Your patients time is valuable too.

Be very careful with the way they bill. They will send you a huge bill after you set up payment with out pay and refuse to give you an itemized bill. With that being said their water fountain is growing mold so how clean can their ORs be... I'll post a pic if they let me.

Horrible billing issues with this company! Beware!!! watch your bill because mine was wrong BCBS insured and still billing department would not listen. Surgery center never submitted my payment to the center at time of service which insurance company said they should have!

This place is wonderful to have eye surgery at but there also bad about this place some is I giving the heads up make sure you stay on top of everything like your bill the billing department has a bad habit of just looking at your health insurance instead of getting a hold of your doctor on the deductible so make your you pay what your health insurance requires you to and not over the amount because this place can get expensive if you dont watch for the billing the nurses are great ya heard some in the hall saying they go down to the second floor to get whiskey and drink some and go back up to the 4th floor but not sure if they on duty or off duty also I am young so no I am not on Medicare so ya cataract surgery for both eyes get expensive first round was roughly 2100.00 for the first eye and second around was 1200.00 that just the surgery center not counting your doctor fee I like my doctor he did a great job on my eyes and I would recommend him to anyone dr mammary did a great good just let you know that all these doctor like my just uses the surgery center they dont work at this place so if you curious on how much the total cost was my estimate was 4747.00 was alittle more then that but that the estimate low end price for everything doctor and surgery center and the antheasa fee that have to be paid for both eyes for cataract and I can see better like I said I would anyone to my doctor he did a wonderful job surgery center they did some what good just stay on top of everything and everything will go smoothly gave 3 star cause of the surgery center only allied did great job and my doctor did a great job

Yesterday I came here for superficial keratectomy. Remove some nodules, some scarring and calcium deposits. I was a little nervous about not having a general anesthetic for surgery, but we discussed using Versed and that helped. They do the nerve block around my eye, and I was given propofol to bring me into a short nap and they told me that Ill probably either wake up Stewart in the preoperative areas or just as a entering the operating room. So the anesthesiologist talk to me while giving me the propofol, and we were just chatting, as I started to feel myself get a little lightheaded and start feeding away. Next thing I know I am super lightheaded and super relaxed and then before I know it Im out. And then I started waking up, but really groggy and relaxed as I was entering the operating room. And Dr. Bowman was great. And he greeted me with a very positive professional attitude. He really cares about his patience. And then after he asked me to leave my head to the left a little bit thats when I think the anesthesia person started administering Versed. Because then I do not remember anything after that and I truly thought I was asleep. I dont even remember the entire surgery at all. Because the next thing I remember, when coming out of the sedation from Versed was being wheeled out of the operating room. The verse said made it feel like I was taking a super deep and a super long nap. Because I remember absolutely nothing. Although in reality youre still semi conscious. I think they gave it to me just before they started surgery. As for the propofol, it felt like a nice nap as well. But it was really nice to not remember the entire surgery at all from the Versed and the anesthesiologist and everybody there were awesome. And today Im still recovering and Im doing well. If I could, I would give you 100 stars. If youre hesitant about getting ice surgery I highly recommend this place and they will make sure youre comfortable.
