Enough said. The service was subpar. Our alarm would go off not a call from anybody. And then it would go off and we get a call so sporadic. Also be careful when you sign a contract. If you do sign a contract it says if you dont notify them, they will re-up your contract, without a phone call. Always read the fine print. I feel cheated because of that, and my wife said she made the phone call and they still turned us in to a credit recovery company. I would not recommend them to anybody. And Im not even mentioning the equipment they installed and the sensors. always failing. Thats the reason we unplugged it. The sensor alarms are as annoying as the actual alarm. We had no alarm service. We just got turned over to a credit agency and were charged over $700. Never a phone call from Brinks or anything. They made their money and theyre happy and their service is awful and their equipment is awful. Look at their reply what are they gonna do? Give me my money back for not having an alarm service. I would never ever recommend them or use them. Absolutely disgusting what they did to us.

All previous reviews about getting scammed on monthly fees, 5yr contracts, equipment, and service fees are 100% accurate. Ironically when I got sold to switch from my prior security system company to Brinks, they had technicians literally right around the corner to come and change everything. But when my alarm was going off due to a door opening in the middle of the nightyet no door was opening in the middle of the nightit literally took me weeks to get help. They had multiple sensors set up incorrectly and it has been a nightmare to say the least since the switch. Finally when I was able to get a service appt (and took off work to be home)they didnt even show up or have record of my appt. Im paying more per month now than I was previouslyand for a POS system and POS customer service. Oh and its $6-$7 extra per month to not have a card or bank on file for them to just deduct payments. My fault completely, red flags everywhere and the old saying of too good to be true..believe it

I cannot recommend this security company. I was with another company originally which was acquired by Brinks. I used them for years without much service at all. Three matters were disturbing. First, the alarm went off and we were never notified. The police contacted me about it after they had been dispatched. Second, a new neighbor moved in and Brinks gave them access to my system. It was a nightmare trying to figure out who was arming and disarming my system. (I am glad they were honest neighbors.) We had to completely reprogram everything with little help and no apology from Brinks. Last, when I sold my house and moved, Brinks popped me for an additional month and a ridiculous paper bill fee of almost $7. I am glad to see do it yourself vendors who will soon replace companies like Brinks.
