Beautiful and well-kept library with friendly staff, classes, events, and a large selection of books for everyone. The overall vibe of this place is a positive one and I look forward to returning. The area around it is on the edge of "sketchy" but the library is a hidden gem with security to keep the place safe!

Great library. All the staff is kind and knowledgeable and willing to help patrons. I am updating my post because the staff is wonderful no problems. I guess the library is implementing security and I understand safety, as I was getting my books out of my vehicle there were two suspicious individuals standing outside in a closed spot and you couldn't see them, it startled me. My children got ahead of me to go into the library. Even they were spooked. So I felt safe once I entered and saw security, but she approaches me about my preschoolers being loud. I returned my books and gathered my children and went to another library. She didn't give me chance to drop my books in the return slot before I can get to them about the library's rules. She should be monitoring the suspicious individuals right outside the library. I know security guards are no help, but at least direct your job where it's best needed for everyones safety. Preschoolers are no threat just loving the library. Anyhow we enjoyed the other DP library who had security as well.
