One of the best Ent Doctors in Dallas. I went to their office with extreme ear pain due to swimmers ear infection and they took really great care of me. Front desk people were nice especially Ms.Denise. They were able to accommodate me on their schedule right away and Dr.Bates is Genuine and very caring. He paid close attention to my problem and guided me through the recovery process. Would highly recommend them

Stay far away from this doctor, especially if you are bringing a child to him. He is rude, impatient, and very unprofessional. He raised his voice at my daughter when she was crying to "calm down!" He didn't explain what he would be doing during the exam and it terrified her. Worst of all, I never saw him clean his hands and he never wore surgical gloves, even while cauterizing a blood vessel in my daughter's nose. It was a terrible experience from start to finish. I should have walked out after he yelled at my daughter.

My experience with SW ENT Associates was very positive. We came here for a second opinion and are absolutely glad we did! The first doctor said my daughter didn't need her tonsils out. Not news you want to hear because of the pain you little one would have to go through. Anyway, stopped by SW ENT and the doctor said they were ok... she just had a throat infection. He prescribed antibiotics and my little daughter was perfectly ok! Thank you!!

We have had a great experience with Southwest ENT. Our pediatrician referred us to Dr. Bates after my son had ear infections that persisted after three rounds of antibiotics. She said she liked working with Dr. Bates because he is conservative and will not jump to placing tubes unless necessary. Well, he recommended tubes for my six month old, and the whole process went smoothly and painlessly; I probably freaked out about it more than my little guy did. We recently went back because my son got an ear infection after battling a rough cold for a couple of weeks, and we were able to get in to see Dr. Bates the day I called so he could clean out my son's ears and prescribe some ear drops. Everything has since cleared right up.Other reviews have mentioned rude staff, but I have never experienced any of the staff members to be rude. This is a healthcare facility; their time is precious because they want to help all of their patients, I'm sure, and see that everyone's needs are met. There is not a lot of idle small talk, which I appreciate. I never felt like they didn't have time for me and all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I highly recommend this office, especially if you are looking for a doctor to evaluate your child for placement of tubes.
