The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because we never got through the front door to even meet her. It's not fair to blame her for the awful staff and protocols set in place due to covid. I had an appointment for my twin two year children. I was working, so I arranged to have my babysitter and mother take them. I called ahead to ensure my mother was on the Release of Information. They showed up, paid $10 for valet, and then they were screened for temperatures at the front door. They would not let two adults enter. They stated only one adult was allowed to escort the TWIN TODDLERS inside. Anyone who works with children knows that it takes one adult per kid to make it work. My mother has medical issues and cannot physically lift both children. So, she waited outside. My babysitter went to Dr. Weinbergers office to check the girls in. They wouldn't allow it because she was not family. She explained that the grandmother was downstairs and not allowed through the door. The front office staff didn't care. No compassion or understanding on a human level. Just protocols and rules. This is a horrible first impression. While she was at the front talking this all out the toddlers were acting wild and touching things. Surprise! They are two. It sure would have been nice to have that other adult helping out, huh? What pushed my super sweet babysitter over the edge was when the lady at the front desk asked her to control the toddlers because "I have to sanitize everything they touch." First off, it is not her job to worry about your job. Second, they are toddlers! What happens when they go to the back to have their hearing tested? Is this the sort of compassion we are to expect? It takes skills to work with children and get them to perform a hearing exam, or any medical exam. To be so cold, rude, and selfish says a LOT about how this business is run. I am sure Dr. Weinberger is amazing. We will just never get through the gates of hell to be able to meet her.
