Dr Avramis fixed my back after 3 prior surgeries that failed to fix my sciatica and radiculipathy. Then when I fell and blew out the next 2 levels above, he was able to extend the fusion and prevented permanent nerve damage. As long as I don't break anything else I am still percolating.

I was diagnosed with a double major scoliosis at the age of 8 years old. 45+ degrees for both. I was braced for 8 years (my uncle was an orthotist) and when I was 16 my curves were both 25. I did great for years and years. In 2013 my lower back was hurting so bad, it was hard to stand up straight. I sent my films and information to many doctors here in Texas and none would take my case. One orthopedic forwarded my information over to Dr Avramis office at SWSI. He reviewed my information and scheduled me for an appointment in 2013. I have to thank him for being patient with me over the years. I was a patient from 2013-2019 before I finally agreed to have surgery for Spondylolisthesis. We discussed several surgical option and I went with the option that had the longest successful outcome, it was more invasive, but 2 1/2 years later, I am still going strong. No more nerve pain...that I've had since I was 8 years old. He is still my scoliosis physician, but now I only have to see him every couple of years as a follow up. This man gave me back my life...which is worth more than 5 stars in my opinion. Thank you Dr Avramis!
